Gifts of Kindness
Gift of Kindness are for low- income families, individuals and the homeless. We provide the following services:
- Some transportation to food pantries, as needed. (Must schedule one day ahead) **
- Household Products: Free (when available)
- Hygiene Packs: men & women Free (when available)
- Clothes, Shoes, Socks: men, women, and children – Free (when available)
We See You: Elderly over 65/disable Assistance
Elderly over 65 who needs assistance with the following may contact us for help.
- Doctor Visits: **
- Pick up Meds: **
- Food Pantries: **
- Hygiene packs: (every two months)
- Household Products: (every other month/or monthly due to size of family).
- Wellness checks: (as many as possible)
** Rides: (Must schedule one day ahead)
Lean On Me Outreach
Lean On Me Outreach reaches out to those in need while having fun, food, fellowship, and participation. We acquire people to serve in their own neighborhoods and also encourage those we serve to volunteer their skills, gifts, talents, and time in other neighborhood as well.
Support Group: You Are Not Alone!
For individuals struggling with life and substance abuse or individuals coming out of prisons and families, there is hope in knowing that you never have to stand alone. We meet every other Saturdays to share in life struggles and needs. We provide transportation for those unable to get to our meeting location. We help individuals with the following.
- Attain birth certificates, Social Security cards and driver’s license.
- Provide information on recommended job placements and also information on homeless shelters.
